FOR TODAY Outside my window… the sun is shining and afternoon shadows are beginning to stretch across the lawn.
I am thinking…about the revisions I need to make to this book.
I am thankful that I live close enough to spend an hour here and there with my family.
From the kitchen…nothing. Lunch has come and gone. Dinner’s not until midnight. The kitchen is closed.
I am wearing…black pants and a beige tunic now spotted with root beer candy stickiness thanks to the grandkids.
I am creating…nothing at the moment.
I am going…for a walk with the dog, but probably not until tomorrow.
I am reading…”The Help” by Kathryn Stockett
I am hoping…that I’ll get back to Utah for a visit soon.
I am hearing…canned laughter from the TV.
Around the house…it’s quiet. The dog is napping. Ditto for Val’s cats. The perfect time to work.
One of my favorite things…hugs from my grandkids.
A few plans for the rest of the week: work today, may give Vanessa her day tomorrow unless Ian’s home, and then Thanksgiving.
Here is picture for thought I am sharing…
