What outstanding lessons have I learned the past year?
Oh, goodness! How long do you have? I’ve learned so much about faith and trust, about forgiving and love, about prayer and the principal of tithing. I’ve learned huge lessons about how to develop a personal relationship with God.
I’ve learned that everything is more fun when there’s Bug Juice involved. I’ve learned from Abigail about important things like play-overs and eat-overs and from Lorelei that everything in the animal kingdom is a “puppy” and that once it’s identified as a puppy, even a chicken is fun.
I’ve learned to appreciate “Blue Christmas” on a whole new level because it’s about Abigail’s favorite color, and that tap-dancing in flip-flops on a cardboard box can be one of the most fun things in the world.
And I’ve realized that while 2010 was one of the hardest years I’ve had in a long time, it was also one of the best because I learned so much.
