100 Things Before I Die: #17

Okay, I’ll admit it’s been a very long time since I posted anything on this blog (or any other, for that matter.) The idea of maintaining all those different blogs on a regular basis, writing guest blog posts, and actually producing books while trying to be a good mother, grandmother, sister, and daughter became seriously overwhelming. I’m going to give it another try, but instead of trying to post multiple times a week on a slew of different blogs, I’ll try to post once a week on each blog to see if I can handle that.

Today being the first day of the rest of my life, this is the day I decided for no good reason to begin anew, and Tuesday is Waxing the Turtle Day. Ironically, #17 on my life list is “Read the Old Testament,” which is a journey I actually began a couple of years ago and tried to chronicle on another blog, An Inward Journey. Unfortunately, I haven’t had many deep and interesting thoughts so that blog got away from me too. But I’m still very slowly making my way through the Old Testament bit by bit. Right now, I’m closing in on the end of 1st Chronicles. This item on my life list may take me until I’m dead and gone.

Not only did I get overwhelmed by the idea of blogging daily about my journey through the Bible, I got a bit overwhelmed by the realization that people were actually reading my blog posts. But the urging I felt to begin the blogging process in the first place has returned . . . so here we go again. I have no idea where we’re going, but you’re welcome to come along for the ride.
